My experience has primarily been in schools and working with gender expansive individuals and families. I believe all people and families have the potential to thrive, and enjoy finding the right supports to help clients reach their goals. As a neurodivergent, queer, adoptive parent myself, I have lived experience in all of these areas and bring this experience and understanding into the therapy space with me. Hi, I’m Andrea, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist originally from Costa Rica. I specialize in working with young children and their caregivers, helping families navigate emotional, behavioral, and relationship challenges with greater confidence, connection, and understanding. Many of the families I work with are feeling overwhelmed by frequent meltdowns, anxiety, behavioral concerns, school difficulties, or the lasting effects of stressful and traumatic experiences. My approach is rooted in the belief that children thrive when they feel safe, understood, and connected to the important adults in their lives. Rather than focusing only on a child’s symptoms or behaviors, I work collaboratively with parents and caregivers to strengthen relationships, build emotional regulation skills, and create lasting change within the family system. With specialized training in trauma, attachment, play therapy, and PC-CARE, I provide an integrative and family-centered approach that supports both children and their caregivers. I am known for being warm, engaged, and deeply invested in the families I work with. I strive to create a supportive space where parents feel empowered and children feel seen, valued, and understood. As a bilingual therapist and someone who understands the experience of navigating different cultures, I bring cultural sensitivity and curiosity into my work. My goal is to help families move beyond survival mode and build stronger, healthier, and more connected relationships.

Hi, I’m Yoana Luna, LMFT (#160919), a bilingual Spanish‑English therapist with over 20 years of experience supporting children, adults, couples, and families. My approach is warm, person‑centered, and grounded in deep respect for each client’s lived experience. Much of my work with Latino clients centers on storytelling, where dichos, family roles, respeto, and generational expectations shape how we make meaning of our lives. I create a space where clients can speak freely — in English, Spanish, or Spanglish — and explore the emotions tied to their stories without judgment. Together, we look at generational trauma, cultural resilience, and the strengths that have helped you survive difficult moments. I specialize in couples counseling, domestic violence recovery, trauma‑informed care, CBT, family conflict, grief, and anxiety. Emotions are the language of energy. In this language, there are critical messages to be understood. Emotions communicate what your needs are. Your mind translates this information so that needs can be met. Sometimes, it feels unsafe to acknowledge your emotions so the intellect, instead, pushes emotions down. With emotions silenced, you become deprived of connection to yourself, to others and needs go unmet. In this deprivation, you also lose authenticity. The call to acknowledgement returns, again and again, louder and louder. We can collaborate together to learn this language and to recover the gold of your authentic self. Its already there, where it has always been. Who you really are is full of potential, courageous, confident and quite worthy of connection. When you know this, there is an energy that arises as well. A motivation for action. Wherever you are at on this journey, is where I want to meet you. What a victory that you have already taken the brave step of searching for a therapist. Celebrate that. Perhaps the next movement is to reach out. We can explore next incremental steps from there.

I am an LPCC in California and an LPC in Texas. My educational background consists of earning my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Master's in clinical counseling, and a Master's in Addictions. I am a National Certified Counselor and am a certified addictions counselor. My past clinical experience includes working for a crisis center where the majority of clients experienced issues related to suicide, homicide, domestic violence, and child and elder abuse. These issues impact people of all ages, races, and ethnic groups. I have also worked for a county-based permanent assisted housing development where all of the clients have experienced episodes of homelessness, and have been significantly impacted by issues of trauma, depression, addictions, domestic violence, and child abuse.

Hello, I am an LMFT for over 20 years, and my life experiences (growing up bicultural , traveling the world, working with military mental health, researching life and death) and drive for educating myself in many areas has given me a unique view and ability to assist those on a similar path of self knowledge. I enjoy the excitement of others achieving goals and making successful transitions in life. Life is an adventure that you create with your thoughts and desires. Hi! I have been in the field helping individuals, couples and families for 13 years from all walks of life and range of socioeconomical status. During the years of experience, I have found great joy in providing a safe landing spot for those ready to unpack their past traumas, navigate their current stressors and challenges, learn new strategies for coping and finding a greater meaning to their lives. To see the transformation of many individuals who felt broken to become and grow into a stronger sense of self with optimism for their future has been what drives me in my career of serving others.

I’m Tatiana Stewart, LCSW, a trauma‑informed clinician specializing in adolescents, transitional‑age young adults, and their families. I help youth and caregivers navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship struggles through evidence‑based, family‑centered interventions so they regain safety, strengthen relationships, and build practical skills for lasting resilience and healthier futures. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of community‑based experience serving children, youth, and families across school‑based settings, foster care programs, and private practice. I’ve led as a foster care program director, supervised clinical teams, and delivered direct evidence‑based therapy (in‑person and via secure telehealth) to stabilize crises, process trauma, and strengthen family relationships. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space—whether one‑on‑one, with caregivers, or in skills groups, so clients can process mental health concerns, build coping skills, and move toward lasting recovery and resilience.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
