Hi, I'm Julie--it's nice to "meet" you! Anxiety and depression affect so many of us every day. Spiraling thoughts, racing heartbeat, inability to sleep, feeling withdrawn at social events--these are just a few examples of how our anxiety gets in the way of our enjoyment and ability to live our lives. Anxiety and depression also increase our stress level and may prevent us from having healthy interactions with coworkers, friends, family members. Think of it this way: if our mind has us focused on the past or the future, how can we enjoy our present relationships.

I frequently support and encourage women who are dealing with pregnancy, post-partum issues, and general parenting concerns. I also provide counseling to young adults as they are trying to find the best fit on their career path, formulate goals for their lives and manage the stresses of life after college.
