Hi there, I'm Samantha Living with stress, depression and/or anxiety can be exhausting. Being able to learn different strategies and techniques to manage symptoms can change and improve your life. I am a clinical licensed social worker that specializes in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, life stressors and relationships. One of my approaches to therapy is to help provide support, guidance and useful feedback that can help you effectively address life changes. Life presents us with numerous transitions - illness, health issues, separation, the death of a loved one, alcohol/drug problems and others. Seeking therapy can sometimes feel scary, but you're making the right choice and taking a step closer to a positive change. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first sessions, we start with brief introductions and explore what’s the clients expectations are for therapy. I always give clients the options of setting specific goals and using therapy as a safe space to vent. Sometimes starting therapy can feel scary, however, I always feel it’s priority to make therapy comfortable and relaxing for clients.

The areas I feel are my biggest strengths include, depression, anxiety, life transitions, family changes, and trauma.

I have a lot of experience in working with clients that struggle with depression, anxiety and trauma. I have been able to help many clients find coping skills and strategies that improved their overall life. Most of my clients was able to feel comfortable to discuss sensitive topics and work through their thoughts and feelings.
