11 years of experience
Solution oriented

Hi, I'm Amanda I have over 20 years of experience working with adolescents, adults and older adult populations. I have been a licensed therapist for 12 years. I began my career working with children and families in the foster care and dependency system. I went on to work in Adoptions and found it very rewarding. I have provided individual counseling to adolescents, adults and older adults. My areas of expertise include: stress, anxiety and depression, grief and loss, family/relationship issues, adoptions and personal growth. I especially enjoy working with children and adolescents. I utilize a multidimensional approach to therapy, exploring each individual's biological, psychological, social and spiritual needs. I enjoy aligning with others to assist them in healing from trauma, building self-esteem, improving communication in their relationships and reaching their goals. I consider myself an interactive, family-systems therapist.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will dive into the specific challenges you are being faced with. I will better understand you in a non-judgmental approach and we will set measurable goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I feel that my biggest strengths are the ability to be nonjudgmental and help others gain insight into their worries and struggles in order for them to reach attainable goals and experience self-growth.
