Welcome to my profile :) I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW-S), based in Tennessee and licensed in Ohio. I firmly believe that you know what is best for you, but sometimes that knowledge is hidden. Through dialogue, reflections, support, and (always optional) therapeutic homework, I work to provide a supportive space. Looking forward to starting this journey together.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Self-determination and starting where the client is are concepts that serve as the foundation of my practice. In our first session we will review how I protect your confidentiality, discuss the limits of virtual sessions, and then move into what brings you to therapy and what you would like life to look like as we work together. We can go as deep as you want or stay more on the surface. Therapy is a journey and I respect where you are in the process.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Supporting each client in their own stage in the therapeutic process. Working with each client as an individual; some folks prefer a more directive approach, some a more contemplative approach.
