Hi! My name is Jennifer and I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) based in Pennsylvania. I received my master’s in school counseling from The College of New Jersey and have been practicing for about seven years. I help adolescents, young adults, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and self esteem become the best versions of themselves. Whatever you are struggling with, you do not need to face it alone!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our initial session, we will start with brief introductions and then discuss the challenges you are facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and welcoming environment that allows clients to explore obstacles with concerns related to anxiety, depression, and/or self-esteem. I focus on helping clients develop assertive communication & boundaries with themselves and those around them that can help improve their quality of life and overall wellbeing.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love helping individuals who are willing to be vulnerable and motivated to make a change. My clients are eager to improve but often feel stuck in their ways. Together, my clients and I will work to build skills that will allow them to feel better and develop a more positive outlook on life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT as a treatment method for the past seven years. It has helped many clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. Using CBT will help us build a shared understanding of your reality and allow us to work together to make progress in your wellbeing. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.
