Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas. I received my Master degree from New Mexico State University and have been practicing for 8 years. I help adults struggling with childhood trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, and life transitions. I know taking the step to get help can be a little scary. I will be with you every step of the way in your healing journey.
In our first session, we will begin with brief introductions and I will ask you what brought you to therapy. I will then take a comprehensive history about you to understand your lived experience. We will discuss your symptoms and areas you would like to work on in your life and create treatment goals for our work together. It is important to be open and honest in this assessment to gain the most benefit from our work together.
I believe as a therapist I embody empathy, compassion, understanding, open-mindedness, and allyship. My empathy enables deep connection, fostering trust and rapport with clients. My compassion drives me to offer genuine support, while being understanding ensures clients feel heard and validated. My open-mindedness fosters an environment of acceptance and growth, and my allyship demonstrates commitment to advocating for clients' well-being.
I have trained and specialize in trauma treatment for people who are struggling to cope in everyday things as well as in relationships. Often people who have childhood trauma history also struggle with depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. Let me help guide you on your path to healing.
