Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board Certified Art Therapist based in New Jersey. I received my Master's in Mental Health Counseling with an Art Therapy Specialization from Caldwell University in New Jersey and have been practicing for 6 years. I enjoy helping teens and young adults finding more joy in life, by working through trauma, anxiety and relationships.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will be about getting to know each other and making sure we are the right fit. Nothing makes starting therapy more difficult than not feeling comfortable with the therapist you are connected with. I will ask what your most important goals for therapy are, previous experiences with therapy, and the strengths you are bringing to the work we will be doing together, yes your strengths! Everyone has them!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My 6 years of experiences in various clinical settings has allowed me find compassion for anyone's circumstances and provide an accepting, non-judgmental space to process your feelings. My style is warm, caring and compassionate. I use a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach and empower clients to recognize their own abilities.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with teens and young adults who have difficulty making friends, full nervous or worried without understanding why, or maybe just feel uneasy or self-conscious of themselves. I also love working with young adults who have low self-esteem and seem to have difficulties finding a sense of self. If you are a parent of a child who is having difficulties and don't quite know where to start, working together before you child or teen starts might be the best way to help them!
