Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Texas. I received my Masters from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio have been practicing for 30 years. I help adults struggling with stress and burnout become the best versions of themselves. I have experience in many different Behavioral Health Treatment Techniques. You and I will tailor your treatment plan to meet your individual needs and goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I strive to provide a safe place for client's to share their thoughts without being judged or shamed. I help clients feel heard and understood. My strength is helping clients express emotions and psychological problems while developing understanding that it takes time to resolve them.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is a goal-oriented and collaborative approach that focuses on connections between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It also offers tools to mange thoughts and feelings more effectively.

EMDR

EMDR is a structured therapy that encourages the client to briefly focus on the trauma memory while simultaneously experiencing bilateral stimulation (typically eye movements), which is associated with a reduction in the vividness and emotion associated with the trauma memories.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness-based therapies use meditation, relaxation and awareness exercises to help focus on the present moment, aiming over time to experience day to day situations and stressors in nonjudgmental and non-reactionary ways.

Trauma-Focused CBT

The goals of TF-CBT are to help clients learn skills to cope with trauma, face and resolve trauma and related concerns, as well as effectively integrate their traumatic experiences and progress through life in a safe and positive manner.

Psychodynamic

sychodynamic therapy focuses on unconscious processes as they are manifested in the client's present behavior. The goals of psychodynamic therapy are client self-awareness and understanding of the influence of the past on present behavior.
