Hi! I am a Licensed Profession Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. I have a private practice and I am also a therapist for an Intensive Outpatient group therapy program. I have 15 years of experience helping people deal with some of life’s hardest challenges. I assist those with mood disorders, anxiety, poor stress management, relational issues, low self-worth and hopelessness towards more insight and less inner turmoil.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, I will gain information about you and your goals. We will also discuss what you can expect from therapy. This is when we begin to establish the therapeutic relationship.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am empathic, down-to-earth, nonjudgmental, direct, and my techniques are tailored to your needs. I will believe in you when you don't and will assist you in developing faith in yourself. You can heal and experience joy and peace.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with people of all ages, primarily women, but I work with men too. I help clients learn to regulate their emotions, improve their distress tolerance, poor executive dysfunction, increase autonomy and self-esteem.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

This is a great therapy for helping clients with radical acceptance, understanding their values and enhancing psychological flexibility.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

This is an effective therapy for helping clients understand cognitive distortions, ways to restructure thoughts, understand core beliefs, and become more aware of the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I utilize concepts and skills from DBT to help clients become more objective, better regulate their emotions, improve distress tolerance, increase interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness.
