Stephanie Welch

LMHC
5 years of experience

I have over 10 years experience working in mental health with children, families, and adults. I have experience in person centered, solution focused, trauma informed, crisis interventions, CBT, and mindfulness therapy. I recently got certified in EMDR. I offer positive empathetic listening and a warm presence to help people feel comfortable. I understand that therapy and even asking for help might seem stressful and may be difficult. I am here to help you through the process through collaboration to understand how stress, the environment, and personal history can impact your mental health.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Clients will be warmly welcomed into the therapeutic setting where we begin to identify problems and goals for therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have experience with different levels of care including in-patient and outpatient. I strive to establish an environment where clients feel comfortable. I am emphatic, good at listening, and strive to do my best with my clients.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with individuals looking for support with anxiety, depression, and trauma. I enjoy working with individuals seeking effective strategies and solutions while focusing on the impact that relationships, trauma, and daily life stress has on their functioning. My ideal client would be open and receptive towards therapy and have a desire to improve themselves.
