We call it the BIO-Psycho-Social-Spiritual-Environment aspects of your life. This holistic perspective allows me to better identify what might be impacting you and how to support you effectively. With over a decade of experience, I have learned that building a strong rapport with my clients is key to fostering positive change. I understand that finding the right therapist can be a challenging and important decision, as it is a relationship that you want to get right from the start. In our sessions, I will encourage you to step outside of your comfort zone, as this fosters growth, self-awareness, and meaningful processing. Though the journey may be challenging, you are worth it. I look forward to meeting you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, we will review your assessment results and discuss their significance. Together, we will develop a treatment plan that outlines your goals for therapy and clarify expectations for our work together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe my greatest strength as a provider is my ability to build a strong rapport with clients, which creates a foundation for genuine awareness and meaningful steps toward positive change.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

When we learn the power of our distorted thoughts and how they can influence emotions and behavior, it allows us to have a master key to how we see the world. Often, our thoughts can be on autopilot that we miss where we could have entered an alternate thought. Learning what are our distorted thoughts, values and beliefs can assist us in being present with the now.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I am a Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) informed therapist. I have worked with this modality in individual sessions to help clients adapt their behaviors to stressors of everyday life. DBT is a great modality that teaches coping skills that can easily fit in already built routines. I really enjoy this modality because it helps us see ourselves as evolving humans that sometimes get caught up in transitions.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing assists the client to understand where they are in the cycle of change. This is a technique that I use with the client to filter out hesitation. Once awareness is built, the client can decide if they are ready for a change.
