Firstly, I want to commend you for seeking therapeutic services! Whether you're looking to address depression, anxiety, trauma, stressors at work, relationship issues, family conflict, or life transitions you're taking an important step in the right direction. I have experience in working with adults with all of these presenting concerns, and know that you don't need to walk this path alone! I enjoy working with adults from all different cultural backgrounds, and I am an LGBTQ+ ally! I received my MA in Clinical Psychology with emphasis in MFT from Pepperdine University in 2016. My background and clinical experience includes working with trauma such as sexual assault, childhood abuse, victims of crime, and intergenerational trauma within families.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I believe that we have enough stress, pressure, and judgement to deal with on a daily basis. Therapy should be a haven, a place of solace where one can turn to for understanding and gaining insight. I facilitate a safe, non-judgmental space so that clients may feel comfortable in sharing their vulnerable content. I wholeheartedly believe that healing exists within the therapeutic relationship, and it is important to me that you be heard and validated. My clients describe me as warm, non-judgmental, and empowering. It would be my privilege to go on this journey with you!

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I work from a collaborative, strength-based frame, incorporating evidence based practices such as CBT, while integrating mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral interventions. I tailor my approach to the unique needs of each client, as is relevant to their goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

In addition to trauma work, I have experience in working with anxiety, depression, gender identity, LGBTQ+ issues, relationship issues, family conflict, and PTSD.
