Welcome! I'm Pamela Little and I a Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC) based in the state of Georgia. I received my Masters from the Argosy University in Atlanta and have been practicing for 5 years. I help clients from 6 years old to Elders struggling with various issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral issues, life transitions, grief/loss, and burnout become the best versions of themselves.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with children, teens and young adults for the past 5 years, I've developed the necessary skills for helping you identify the root cause of your challenges and create a tailored plan that leads to a reduction in symptoms through your measurable progress.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with children, teens, and young adults who are experiencing various issues and are in need of guidance and support during challenging times. Many of my clients may not initially see the need for improvement and some are eager to improve, but may not possess the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel frustrated, anxious, helpless, hopeless and overwhelmed.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, CBT serves as the cornerstone of my therapeutic interventions. I employ a strategic and personalized approach, tailoring the techniques to meet my client's unique needs. The core elements of my CBT practice include: a comprehensive assessment, to understand your history, challenges, and aspirations; identifying and challenging cognitive distortions, incorporating various interventions to help modify behaviors; homework assignments encourage the practice of techniques learned during our sessions to ensure that the skills are internalized and applied in real-life situations, fostering long-term change; Therapeutic progress is monitored closely, with regular reviews to assess the effectiveness of the interventions. Adjustments are made as necessary to ensure that the therapy remains aligned with the your evolving needs and goals.
