I am driven by directness and efficiency, and draw upon my humor, warmth, and ability to motivate. I have a New York brain and a Southern heart. I offer authenticity, respect for your time, and individualized care without any reliance on books, podcasts, or referrals to support groups. My therapeutic approach is goal-oriented, behavior-based, and wholly individualized. All progress will be in pursuit of your goals. I am equally committed to this investment of your time as we work toward your success. I add value, and I go away. It is truly that simple.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session is an opportunity to begin our work as a conversation, not a typical rote question and answer intake. I ask purposeful questions to learn what I need to know about you to provide the best possible care. We will formulate a treatment plan together as a team. You are in charge.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I am highly skilled at creating authentic connections which is critical forming a trusting and productive relationship. This facilitates change that begins at the first session. As a long time Educator and Personal Trainer, I utilize this unique skill set creatively to motivate and inspire. I'm informal in style and highly relatable, and I will earn your trust.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am best positioned to serve highly motivated clients who wish to gain tangible, behavior based therapy, in a truly individualized matter. I utilize warmth, sensitivity, and humor in my practice, and while I am a good listener, my role is to provide you with actionable advice that meets your values and helps you achieve growth. Clients who seek a specific political alignment, require trigger warnings, or have challenges attending appointments will not resonate with my practice model.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Things will be different after our work together! We will align your behaviors with your values in order to transform your relationships, whether with people, work, grief, your physical health, and/or your sleep.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i)
I have been trained by the VA in CBTI, which is an evidenced based treatment for Insomnia. It has an 86% success rate, and no side effects. Let's give it a shot!
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Everything we will do together is solution focused, but clients often utilize me to assist them with navigating a single issue. Therapy does not need to be a long term relationship!

You know what I hate? Wasting my time. You know what I love? Solutions to my problems. That’s why Nicole is by far the best therapist I’ve ever had. We don’t talk in a circle like I’ve experienced in most traditional talk therapy approaches. We identify the problem, come up with the solution, and get to work. If you struggle with ADHD, or if ADHD struggles with you, look no further.

She is fantastic; she is what I need at this transition moment, and I like how she is direct and how she gives me tips to help me through the week.
