Welcome! I’m Nara Pezolano, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CTTP) with over 18 years of experience in the mental health field. My practice is dedicated to providing compassionate support to individuals facing a diverse array of challenges. I specialize in helping clients navigate the complexities of trauma and abuse, offering a safe space to process their experiences and begin healing. Many of my clients struggle with low motivation and self-esteem issues, and I work collaboratively with them to build confidence and foster a sense of purpose. Relationship difficulties, whether they involve family, friends, or romantic partners, are also common concerns, and I employ effective strategies to improve communication and resolve conflicts. In addition to these areas, I address mood and personality disorders, anxiety, and depression, utilizing evidence-based techniques to help clients manage their symptoms and regain control over their lives. Grief and end-of-life issues are particularly sensitive topics, and I provide a supportive environment for clients to explore their feelings and find meaning during difficult transitions. My approach is eclectic and person-centered, meaning I tailor my methods to fit your unique needs and circumstances. I believe in empowering you to take the lead in your healing journey, ensuring that you feel heard and validated throughout the process. I also proudly support the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities, fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment for all clients. If you're ready to take the first step toward healing, I invite you to schedule a session with me today. Together, we can work toward a brighter future. *Please note: I uphold a Zero Tolerance policy for hate, discrimination, and intolerance of any kind. My practice is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all individuals. *Please note: I am currently not accepting referrals for clients under 18 or couples/families.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength lies in my ability to empathize with and validate my clients. I believe that we are all human, navigating the complexities of life together. Recognizing that no one is perfect and that we all face challenges at times, I approach each session with compassion and understanding. I take into account my clients’ diverse backgrounds—cultural, racial, socioeconomic, gender, and sexual identity—while also being mindful of my own privileges. This awareness helps create a safe and supportive environment for meaningful connection and growth.
