What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My clients commonly report feeling more confident and at ease after just a few sessions of therapy. Most people report gaining better communication skills which naturally improves all relationships. My clients tend to build skills quickly and report feeling more in control of their lives.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I take a trauma-informed approach to my work with every client, regardless of what issues we might be working to improve. I primarily use Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) which means I help people notice how thoughts affect emotional experiences. We are all susceptible to experiencing unhelpful thoughts at times. I can help you recognize those patterns and help you build skills to change those patterns to get a different outcome. Additionally, I utilize Mindfulness techniques. Mindfulness simply means learning to be grounded in the safety of the moment we are living right now. These techniques are shown to reduce anxiety and depression symptoms while improving health and well-being.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I love working with clients who have experienced trauma and now suffer from anxiety, panic, and depression. I am very open-minded and can discuss energy work, sleep issues, dreams, and a plethora of spiritual beliefs. I am comfortable working with individuals and systems. I consider myself to be poly and kink allied.
