Hi! I am an LCSW based in North Eastern Pennsylvania. I received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Connecticut. I have worked in the mental health field for 30 years in a variety of settings. My clients have been from all age groups and been experiencing all kinds of concerns. I help people who are struggling move towards a more healthy mind set.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will start with brief introductions. I will ask clients to tell me about their concerns and any symptoms they may be experiencing. I may ask about your expectations for therapy and other questions to help us develop a treatment plan.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I feel like the connection between a client and therapist is one of the most important factors in successful therapy. I am willing to work hard on developing a safe and trusting therapeutic alliance.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with people who are willing to talk about their problems. I am willing to meet people where they are at and admire with the courage to start this journey to improved mental health.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT as a potential intervention to help manage anxiety and gain an understanding of thought processes.

Family Therapy

I have worked with families for the past 5 years. I relate family dynamics to a person's social self and their happiness.

Trauma Informed Care

I understand that so many have experienced trauma and I believe therapy sessions should be a safe space.

Psychodynamic

I see connection in how a person's past experiences are impacting their current mindset. I use this approach when working with interpersonal and relationship conflicts.
