I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. I specialize in helping adolescents, young adults, and families work toward living their most successful lives. I approach therapy from a patient-centered frame utilizing a combination of emotion-focused therapy, family systems, and dialectical and cognitive behavioral techniques. I strive to create a safe space in each session for each individual to know themselves more deeply, understand how their life experiences have impacted their current way of interacting with the world, and move toward relief and change.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, my main goal is to gain an understanding of what you are experiencing and ask questions to build an understanding of what you have been experiencing and what has led you to seek therapy at this time. During this initial session, we will also take some time to review issues related to confidentiality and to get to know one another to foster a positive therapeutic rapport.

I strive to create a safe and natural environment for each individual to be their true self. My style is authentic, warm, and empathic while striving to maintain a goal-oriented mindset within each session. I believe a healthy mix of deep emotional exploration and light-hearted humor often creates the most productive therapeutic relationships.

I have a true passion for helping people in all stages of life navigate challenges in order to live their best lives now and in the future. I have experience working with individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, suicidal ideation, self-harm, behavioral concerns, and family conflict.
