Welcome to my profile. I am a LCSW and have been providing Mental Health counseling for nearly 24 years. My years of experience include working at a birthing and trauma hospital as well as the Veterans Health Administration. I am here to help You be as healthy as you can be. Over the years I have provided and continue to provide care for people suffering from depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship discord, PTSD and insomnia. After our first session we will explore what is most important to you from your therapy. We will set goals together to help you reach your desired outcomes.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

There are so many amazing tools out there for providers to offer their clients. I am a cognitively trained behavioral therapist and like to offer treatments which offer proven results. Some of my training and certificates include: CBT-I, CBT-N, CBT, MI, IBCT, IPT, CPT, ACT. I know lots of initials however these are the treatment approaches I know are most effective for clients needing services.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my passions include treating sleeping disorders which may also include nightmares related to past traumas. The treatment that is offered for these two disorders are called CBT-I and CBT-N. These are very effective treatments that will assist you with improving your sleep and decreasing your nightmares to allow you to have better sleep and improved mood. These two disorders can be quickly improved with 4-6 structured sessions. Just imagine feeling better after only a month plus!
