LMFT, 22 years of experience
Do you ever feel overwhelmed or find yourself stuck in the same relationship patterns? Life can throw us emotional and mental challenges that leave us feeling lost, disconnected, or unsure of what to do next. My goal is to help you make sense of what’s happening, understand yourself more deeply, and find healthier ways to move through difficult moments. Since 2002, I’ve worked with men and women who are tired of always putting others first. Together, we’ll explore what’s keeping you stuck and build clarity, confidence, and direction—so you can create relationships (and a life) that feel more authentic and fulfilling.
During our first session, we’ll take time to answer any questions you may have about therapy and what to expect. We’ll talk about what brought you here, explore your background—including family dynamics and relevant medical history—and discuss your goals and hopes for counseling.
I’ve spent over 20 years supporting clients—especially those from Asian and immigrant backgrounds—through life’s most challenging moments. Together, we address feelings of shame, guilt, and perfectionism that often come from cultural and family expectations, and work on finding practical tools to navigate these challenges with confidence and self-compassion.
I work with professional men and women who are ready to make meaningful changes but often feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to get there. Many of my clients struggle with depression, anxiety, perfectionism, or challenges in their relationships or careers. Together, we focus on understanding what’s holding you back, building practical tools, and creating the clarity and confidence you need to move forward and feel more balanced in your life.
CBT helps reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression. I have been using it with my clients as a springboard for positive change and has seen positive results. It is a practical tool to counter self-blame, perfectionism, helpless thinking, and irrational beliefs that contribute to anxiety and depression.
Attachment-based therapy looks at the connection between early attachment experiences with primary caregivers and ability to develop and form healthy relationships as an adult. It is helpful to revisit some learned behaviors and beliefs to empower you to keep some or replace them.
