Do you ever feel anxious or on edge? How about shortness of breath or a racing heartbeat? Or have you experienced a loss of interest in activities you used to love doing, helplessness, or feelings of emptiness? I help individuals manage anxiety and trauma symptoms. Together we can identify what is working and what is not to help get you back on track. We'll use a whole self approach meaning addressing the needs of your body and mind. I also integrate mindful techniques to regulate emotions. Seeking therapy can feel scary, but I am proud of you for making this brave decision. I will be able to provide a safe space for you to discuss any and everything without judgment. I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you observe the source of pain and begin to heal. Let's work together!
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session, we will go over confidentiality limits and goals for therapy. I will ask you what you would like to work on in our session, so I can begin to gather education and coping skills for you to practice.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I think my biggest strengths are being a good listener and making genuine connections with clients by walking a mile in your shoes. I believe the therapeutic relationship is the foundation for change.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I’ve been using CBT in my practice. It’s helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.
