Hello, I'm Cynthia Are you tired of getting little relief from your medication regimen? Do you consistently experience unwanted side effects? Do you need a more convenient way to have your psychotropic medications managed? I am a trauma-informed provider who is passionate about helping individuals take control of their mental health by providing evidence-based and neuroscience-backed medication management with an integrative approach. I want to help you find the best medication regimen that helps you feel better while minimizing unwanted side effects. I believe that the client has a say in their treatment and should be an active participant in their mental wellness journey. I offer convenient telehealth appointments so that you don't have to rearrange your entire day to get your prescriptions filled. **Please note, that I do not prescribe hypnotics ( prescription sleeping meds) and I do not prescribe benzodiazepines ( ie Xanax, Ativan, Valium, Klonopin) as a stand-alone treatment for anxiety. I stay within FDA-recommended dosing for all stimulants.** Limits of Service: I do not provide disability evaluations, worker's compensation evaluations, forensic evaluations, emotional support animal evaluations, or provide legal services or testimony. Should you require legal testimony at some point during our treatment together, you will need to retain an independent forensic psychiatrist.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will be a detailed intake where I will get to know you better. I will ask for details about your previous mental health treatments, medical history, trauma history, drug and alcohol history, social history, and review completed pre-assessment screenings. I will want to know what your diet, exercise, and sleep patterns look like because no medication regimen will work effectively if your diet, exercise, and sleep patterns are not aligned with attaining positive mental wellness. We will look at what symptoms you are experiencing and what may be contributing to those symptoms. Together we will formulate a plan for medication adjustments, and the possible addition of nutraceuticals and dietary supplements, as well as, incorporating mindfulness and meditation into your day.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I will utilize several assessment screenings depending on the presentation of symptoms, motivational interviewing, and therapeutic communication. I also incorporate some cognitive-behavioral techniques into my supportive counseling.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My primary area of interest is ADHD. Anxiety, PTSD, and Depressive Disorders. I work with young to middle-aged adults. My biggest strength is my ability to be an empathic listener. I understand that any trauma can impact individuals in many areas of their lives and have serious negative effects on their mental health.
