I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist with 8 years of experience working with adults around anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, relationship stress, and life transitions. I use cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused approaches to help clients identify patterns, reduce symptoms, and build practical skills they can use between sessions. I work collaboratively and directly, with a focus on helping clients feel more grounded and better able to manage everyday challenges.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In the first session, I’ll ask questions to understand what’s bringing you in, what you’re hoping will feel different, and what you’ve already tried. We’ll talk about current symptoms, stressors, and how these are affecting your day-to-day life and relationships. You can expect a collaborative, straightforward conversation, and by the end of the session we’ll identify initial goals and a clear focus for our work together.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strengths as a therapist are my ability to quickly understand what’s getting in the way, help clients clarify goals, and translate insight into practical change. I’m direct, collaborative, and focused on helping clients reduce symptoms by identifying patterns and using tools they can apply between sessions. Clients often tell me they value my clear feedback, grounded presence, and the sense of momentum they feel in our work together.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work with adults who are feeling stuck, anxious, or uncertain during periods of personal or career change. Many of my clients struggle with self-doubt, imposter feelings, or difficulty making decisions, even when they’re functioning well day to day. I bring a practical, collaborative approach that helps clients reduce symptoms, clarify next steps, and move forward with more confidence.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use cognitive behavioral therapy throughout my clinical work to help clients understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact and contribute to distress. I work collaboratively with clients to identify unhelpful patterns, test new ways of responding, and build practical coping skills. This approach supports symptom reduction and improved day-to-day functioning.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I use a Rogerian, client-centered approach throughout my clinical work with clients across ages and presenting concerns. I focus on listening closely, reflecting understanding, and creating a nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and respected. This approach supports trust, insight, and steady progress across a wide range of therapeutic goals.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I use solution-focused brief treatment throughout my clinical work to help clients clarify goals and focus on what is changeable in the present. I emphasize strengths, past successes, and small, achievable steps that support forward movement. This approach helps clients build momentum and make progress efficiently.
Motivational Interviewing
I use motivational interviewing throughout my clinical work to help clients explore ambivalence and strengthen motivation for change. I focus on eliciting clients’ own reasons for change, supporting autonomy, and reducing resistance through collaborative conversation. This approach helps clients build confidence and take meaningful steps toward their goals.

I appreciated how open and honest she was with me. I felt heard and feel like she understands my goals for therapy which is difficult to find. I need a therapist that I can discuss my problems with and not just have my words echoed back to me. She actively listened to what I was saying and came up with genuine comments and questions which I very much appreciate :)
