About me

I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist with 7 years of experience helping adults address a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Grounded in a humanistic-existential approach, I help clients explore issues related to identity, self-esteem, purpose, and personal growth, as well as cope with stress, grief, and major changes. My style is warm, collaborative, and practical, supporting clients in building insight, resilience, and meaningful change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the initial session, I establish rapport, gather background information, and we collaboratively outline the client's goals and expectations for therapy. Together, we explore presenting concerns and begin to lay the foundation for a trusting therapeutic relationship.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My strengths as a therapist lie in my ability to infuse sessions with warmth and humor, creating a welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable and at ease. Additionally, my nonjudgmental openness fosters trust and encourages clients to explore their thoughts and feelings without fear of criticism or rejection.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who is open to self-exploration, motivated to make positive changes, and willing to actively engage in the therapeutic process. They demonstrate a genuine desire to understand themselves better and are committed to their own growth and healing. Additionally, they value collaboration and trust in our therapeutic relationship.

My treatment methods

Existential

I use existential therapy to help clients explore life’s deeper questions, like meaning, freedom, and responsibility. It’s a collaborative process where we examine how their values, beliefs, and choices shape their experiences. I focus on helping clients confront uncertainties, find clarity in transitions, and reconnect with their sense of purpose.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i)

I use CBT-i to help clients reframe thoughts about sleep, establish routines, and use stimulus control and sleep restriction for better rest.

I appreciated how open and honest she was with me. I felt heard and feel like she understands my goals for therapy which is difficult to find. I need a therapist that I can discuss my problems with and not just have my words echoed back to me. She actively listened to what I was saying and came up with genuine comments and questions which I very much appreciate :)
