Hello, I'm Amanda, Have you been struggling with the challenges of life lately? Do you feel like you are in a constant state of survival? Do you want to start living? Are you looking to approach life with a new lens? I help individuals take control of their lives whether they are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, difficult emotions or life events. I provide a safe and judgement free space to make you as comfortable as possible. We will work together to explore what is helpful and what is not. I understand that everyone is different and believe that is most important when providing therapy. Whether you have been to therapy several times before or this is your first time, I look forward to experiencing your growth with you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I hope when you walk away from session you feel something positive, whether it was to express difficult emotions and be supported, or feel like you have tools to use in difficult situations moving forward. At times, sessions can be heavy and I do my best to hold you accountable for self care after our sessions.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I like to utilize a variety of treatment methods and tools because everyone is different. I believe that a helpful skill or theory for one person may not be most appropriate for another. It is my role to help you explore the different tools to help you. I use treatment methods and tools from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, person-centered, behavioral, mindfulness, and narrative therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my biggest strengths is adapting to my client's needs. I am here to help you and that is my top priority as your therapist. I advocate and encourage.
