I am a licensed marriage and family therapist dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space where clients can truly be themselves. In our sessions, I encourage clients to explore their experiences, make meaning out of what they’ve been through, and identify the direction they want to take in their lives. My goal is to help clients navigate their journey with greater self-awareness and purpose, empowering them to move forward with clarity and confidence.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In a session with me, clients can expect to share their experiences in a supportive and non-judgmental environment where they feel truly heard and acknowledged. We will explore their goals and what they hope to achieve from our sessions, discussing the changes they would like to make in their lives. Together, we will collaborate to develop actionable steps that align with their desires, empowering them to move toward the positive changes they seek.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a therapist, my strengths lie in my compassionate and caring approach, always honoring the unique differences of each individual I work with. I am committed to not only providing a supportive environment but also challenging my clients to strive for their best selves. My focus is on both understanding their experiences deeply and taking actionable steps toward meaningful change.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I effectively use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients embrace their thoughts and feelings without judgment, fostering a sense of acceptance and mindfulness. By focusing on their core values, I guide clients in taking meaningful actions that align with their goals, ultimately leading to a more fulfilling and purpose-driven life.

Attachment-based

I enjoy incorporating attachment-based therapy to help clients explore and understand their early relational experiences and how these impact their current relationships and emotional well-being. By creating a safe and supportive environment, I guide clients in developing healthier attachment patterns, strengthening their ability to form secure, meaningful connections.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns that contribute to their emotional distress. By teaching practical coping strategies and encouraging positive behavioral changes, I help guide clients in developing healthier thinking habits.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

I believe we cannot effectively provide therapy without a level of cultural sensitivity. I practice cultural sensitivity by acknowledging and respecting each client’s unique cultural background, values, and experiences. By integrating these aspects into the therapeutic process, I create a safe and inclusive environment where clients feel understood and validated. This approach allows me to tailor interventions that resonate with clients' cultural identities, helping them achieve their therapeutic goals in a way that is meaningful and relevant to their lives.

Narrative

I utilize Narrative Therapy as a tool to help clients explore and reshape the stories they tell about their lives. By identifying and reframing negative narratives, I empower clients to view their experiences from a new perspective, highlighting their strengths and resilience. This process allows clients to construct more empowering stories, leading to greater self-awareness.
