Chandra Price, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and family nurse practitioner. Chandra has worked with patients across the lifespan in various outpatient settings. Chandra focuses her professional practice on Integrated behavioral health. She possesses expertise and extensive experience in treating a wide range of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, bipolar disorders, and schizophrenia. She employs evidence-based treatment strategies tailored to each individual. Chandra’s experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in community-based clinics has given her a solid understanding of mental health and general medical complexities. She provides a comprehensive care plan that encompasses psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and health and wellness coaching. Chandra received her undergraduate Bachelor’s nursing degree from The University of Memphis in Memphis, TN. She received her Master’s degree in family nursing at The University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. She also received a Master’s degree in psychiatric nursing and her Doctoral degree in nursing at The University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis, TN. She offers telehealth appointments to patients throughout the state of TN and KS at PRC Psychiatry, PLLC.
In our first session, we would do a meet and greet and dive into presenting concerns, collect psychiatric, medical, and social histories, discuss treatment options, collaboratively set goals, and from there a treatment plan will be developed/explained.
By gaining experience in community health settings, I have developed a versatile skill set that is suitable for the complex and multifaceted nature of mental health practice. By understanding and addressing the interconnectedness of mental health in communities with many social factors, I am able to contribute to more effective and compassionate care.
I Have been successful in treating all types of mental health conditions across the lifespan. My goal is to facilitate meaningful improvement in the mental health of my patients, empower them to navigate their challenges and provide support throughout their journey.

Psychoeducation involves providing individuals and families with information about mental health conditions, treatment options, coping strategies, and the overall management of mental health. The goal is to empower individuals to better understand their condition, participate in treatment, and enhance their overall well-being.
