Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Florida. I received my Masters from Florida International University and have been practicing for 6 years. I help children, adolescents, and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, low self esteem, addiction and more. I help my client's by empowering them and provide emotional support by helping them feel valued and understood. I teach different coping strategies to mange stress and other difficulties.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a treatment plan specifically for us to work on through follow up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe that my greatest strength is that my work is done with genuineness and sincerity. My desire is to truly see my clients get better knowing that I am walking with them every step of the way.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with individuals who are simply trying to get better in their life and better understand themselves and others. My clients feel encouraged and motivated when they know that they have someone to listen to and understand them where they are at.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a structured, goal-oriented approach to therapy that focuses on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It helps individuals identify and challenge negative thought patterns, develop coping strategies, and ultimately change their behavior.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a comprehensive treatment approach that focuses on helping individuals develop skills to manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and reduce self-destructive behaviors. It's particularly effective for conditions like borderline personality disorder but can be beneficial for various mental health challenges.

Christian Counseling

Christian counseling is a form of psychotherapy that integrates Christian beliefs and values into the therapeutic process. It seeks to address emotional, relational, and spiritual challenges from a faith-based perspective.   Key Principles : God-centered approach: Recognizes God as the ultimate source of healing and restoration.   Scripture-based: Incorporates biblical principles and teachings as a guide for understanding and addressing life's challenges.   Holistic perspective: Addresses the mind, body, and spirit as interconnected aspects of a person.   Emphasis on forgiveness and reconciliation: Promotes healing through forgiveness and restoration of relationships.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a collaborative, person-centered approach to guiding individuals towards making positive changes in their lives. It's about helping people explore their own motivations and find their inner strength to make changes they desire.
