Hi! I know you’re most likely nervous about this right now. You have worked up the nerve to look into it, and now you may be thinking, “How do I know who to pick?” Well, I consider myself a little different. Rather than using one method of treatment for everyone, I tailor my techniques and approach to each person I work with in treatment.
The first session consists of: - Informing you of the basics of therapy with me - Casual introductions that allow us both to get to know one another - You will then have the option to ask more questions about me and my methods or choose to simply begin informing me of your situation and needs.
Communicating and conducting therapy in a way that allows you to be comfortable and receive assistance in a way that refrains from being an interrogation or a cold textbook lecture.
We all use the fundamental elements of psychology. The treatment method is how the therapist approaches everyone they work with in sessions. Most therapists will pick one approach to use for everyone. I believe that I must alter my approach for each client. It's about you, not me. The approach that works for you is the approach I will use.
