I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from West Chester University and find fulfillment and enjoyment in working with college students and other adults seeking to improve areas of their lives. I have earned a certification in DBT but also utilize CBT, Mindfulness, ACT, and strengths-based modalities. When I am not with clients, I am reading, riding my bike, and hanging with my dog.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first session is you getting to know me and my style as much as it is me getting to know you! We will talk about what has led you to therapy and have a casual conversation about goals and answer any questions that you may have.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I take a collaborative approach to treatment and am committed to using a strengths-based perspective to support my clients in building the skills that will help them achieve their goals. Being laid back and having a sense of humor in session is very important. I have a laid back, but direct, validating, and supportive style in session. My primary therapeutic modalities include mindfulness, CBT, DBT, and behavioral interventions. It is important that a client feel comfortable being open and honest with their therapist. A supportive and inviting environment that fosters two-way communication ensures that clients feel comfortable offering their clinician feedback to advocate for their needs.
