Hi! My name is Erin and I am eager to learn more about what brings you to Grow Therapy and how we can work together to improve your overall quality of life and happiness. The first thing I want to do is get to know you- who are you, what's important to you in life, and what things would you like to try and change or improve. I want to push and challenge you to be reflective and conscious when it comes to navigating the world around you, your relationships, and your inner thoughts. We all have the power within us to determine our journey and destination.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, I will introduce myself briefly and answer any questions you might have. I will then spend most of our time together learning more about you- what's important to you, why is it important, and what are your goals in therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe one of my strengths is my ability to summarize and reflect with my clients. I am able to listen effectively and ask questions to elicit reflection and insight. I always lead with compassion and curiosity.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

I don't believe in a 'one size fits all' approach for supporting clients in their therapy journey. I want to work with you and find out what works for you. Each treatment plan should be individualized to meet every client's needs and typically this means utilizing numerous theoretical approaches and perspectives.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use cognitive behavioral therapy in my work with clients often. The brain is a muscle and using cognitive restructuring we can identify unhelpful thought patterns and replace them with more helpful thought patterns that support your personal goals.

Narrative

I use narrative therapy in my work with clients to help them create or even restructure the narrative that is their 'story'. Our stories should lead with strength, empathy, curiosity, and compassion.
