I hold a Master's Degree in Counseling and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas since 2018, providing mental health and behavioral counseling. I'm guided by the following core beliefs: We each have a unique life story, and how we see our present is impacted by past things that have happened to us. Lastly, our thoughts and behaviors shape how we manage relationships and see the world around us. As a standard practice, I approach the therapeutic relationship with acute sensitivity and respect for multi/cross-cultural factors and influence. I approach therapy with the mindset that every person has internal skills that give him or her the ability to reach personal goals. With an integrative client-centered approach, you take the lead as the expert on your life, patterns of behaviors, and I help guide you to uncover causes of core belief systems that fuel areas of concern. My role in this process is to support you with encouragement while developing self-awareness and understanding your past experiences. Mental health is a journey, and while you may feel lost now, that is not an indication of how your life will continue. It takes a lot of strength and willpower to work towards a more fulfilling and happier life, if you are ready to take that step, I am here to walk alongside to encourage and empower you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions. We will review confidentiality and answer any questions you may have. We will discuss the main reason for seeking therapy and begin to develop a treatment plan together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I walk the journey with my clients and will provide self-care and coping techniques while working on the presented issue.
