This is my first career and something I have always been pulled to; my journey is a thorough reflection of why I work in this field. My path to becoming a licensed therapist was very intuitive-based; I went through experiences of pain, guilt, shame, loss of self, and the loss of my overall sense of life. Through my journey, I was able to understand pain and trauma, taking on a lot of spiritual remedies while turning my pain into passion, my passion into purpose, and my purpose into power as a healer. Due to my licensure journey, I not only understand the educational part of pain, trauma, and healing, but I also experienced painful and challenging moments myself, bringing me to a higher purpose for self and meaning of life! I am highly intuitive, empathic, gentle, and calm, and I am a good listener and healer. I have worked in addiction, with children who have autism and intellectual disabilities, PTSD, anxiety, depression, life coaching, spirituality, and connecting to the higher self.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In terms of the intake, I like to go through in depth processing of current symptoms to begin identifying current functioning, supports/resources/internal strengths and coping to start working from inside out to find space for healing through the self. From there, I like to go into the initial session to complete the assessment along with identifying what we are looking to target and heal during the therapeutic process. Then, we go into sessions and begin working from the ground up, identifying blockages, triggers, conflicts, self-development issues, grounding techniques, coping skills, structure, and anything else that is brought into the session. I enjoy working with anxiety, depression, PTSD, life coaching, addiction, autism, spirituality, and connecting to the higher self for healing.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
CBT, DBT, emotionally focused, solution focused, trauma focused, spiritual based for grounding/internal coping, strength based, mindfulness/meditation, exposure, grief, interpersonal, person centered, humistic, psychodynamic, gestalt, supportive, intuitive, empathetic
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I’m very grounded so I usually look at grounding my client before processing. I work through intuitive senses, allowing clients to tap into their intuition during the healing process. I’m an empath and a good listener, so I’m tuned to the client when bringing forth solutions and offering guidance; my clients know I’m here to support them through processing. I'm highly aware, so I try to make sure my client is safe and secure in processing trauma and triggers, coping, and directing challenges associated with mental health symptoms.
