I’m Shirria McCullough, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I had my first child at 17, and as a teenage mother it was the support, understanding, and empathy of my mother and grandmother that got me to where I am today. As an adult, I recognize how crucial support, understanding, and empathy can be towards others. Understanding, empathy, and support are the characteristics I stand on and the foundations of my practice with others. I am committed to helping young adults to adults overcome mental health challenges that limit your quality of life. I believe in taking a collaborative approach while helping clients overcome challenges, reach goals, and enhance life! I am passionate about creating a therapeutic alliance that builds trust, empowers you to overcome challenges, develop new perspectives and skills, to enhance your life to become the life of your dreams.

You can expect to feel heard, understood, validated, and challenged if needed. My role is to guide and support you on this journey, while holding you accountable to show up for yourself!

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, and Motivational Interviewing.

I have a wealth of experience working with individuals from various backgrounds. As a result, I come with the humility to see client's as human first, compassion to remain judgmental, and relatability.

I enjoy working with clients who are currently finding difficulty managing symptoms of depression, anxiety, and stress. Additionally, clients that require assistance and motivation adjusting to new life situations such as college, career, retirement, ect.
