Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensed in the state of Virginia. I received my Master's in 2014. My services include working with individuals struggling with trauma, anxiety and stress management, depression, grief counseling, self esteem and assertiveness training. I also work with clients struggling with interpersonal stress and behavioral issues. Additionally I offer services for Sex Offender Treatment and Evaluation.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session we will begin with a brief introduction followed up by a conversation regarding what brings the client to counseling. From there we will go into further detail about the client's current situation and symptoms and how those symptoms have cause distress. We will then, together, formulate a plan moving forward that the client is most comfortable with to address symptoms and develop coping strategies that best suit the client.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with clients spanning over a decade, I have found that the foundation of any therapeutic relationship is empathy, respecting the autonomy and situation of the client, as well as taking a structured approached are the most beneficial to clients. It is pertinent to work with the client regarding their goals and comfortability level in order to create a safe and therapeutic atmosphere.
