Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Dr. Nadim’s treatment approach is integrative, child-centered, and evidence-based. She combines creative methods such as art, storytelling, and developmentally appropriate dialogue with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to help children identify emotions, build coping skills, and navigate the challenges of growing up. Through play and creative expression, children are able to communicate feelings that may be difficult to put into words, while CBT strategies support emotional regulation, problem-solving, and behavioral change. An essential part of her work includes parent–child education and collaboration. Dr. Nadim works closely with parents and, when appropriate, schools to provide guidance, consistency, and practical tools that strengthen the child’s support system and promote lasting progress beyond the therapy room. Dr. Nadim prioritizes the dignity and individuality of every client. Her practice is grounded in a non-judgmental, confidential, and emotionally safe environment where clients feel heard, valued, and understood. She is deeply attentive to cultural, familial, and environmental factors, and respects each client’s background, including culture, language, ethnicity, religion, and lived experience.
