I am a licensed counselor in Georgia and have provided therapeutic counseling services for over twenty years. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence concerns, & depressive issues. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to a more fulfilling and happy life takes courage. My personal, spiritual convictions help frame suffering in such a way that I am able to empathize and help facilitate a sense of spiritual well-being, as well. I am here to support you in the search for peace and wholeness as you process your concerns and problems. I am available for teletherapy sessions M-F from 10AM through 2PM for Georgia residents. If you are an adult, ages 18 and up, I look forward to starting this journey with you. Areas of focus: Abuse history, Parenting issues, Career difficulties, Abandonment, Blended Family Issues, Caregiver Issues and Stress, Control Issues, Divorce and Separation, Domestic Violence, Family of Origin Issues, Forgiveness, Guilt and Shame, Impulsivity, Infidelity, Isolation/Loneliness, Jealousy, Life Purpose, Midlife Crisis, Mood Disorders, Post-traumatic Stress, Self-Love, Social Anxiety and Phobia, Women's Issues, Workplace Issues, Young Adult Issues, Christianity. I do not see individuals or couples with current legal issues, domestic violence concerns, open CPS cases, or current substance abuse issues or mental health crises.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first session gives me a 10,000 foot view of your life. I learn who you are, why you're coming to therapy, and where we are going from that point. This session provides me with the details I will need to serve you best as you launch forward in your therapy journey.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

CBT, Trauma-Informed, Attachment Theories and Christian perspectives

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a provider are empathy, clinical precision, ability to frame and reframe issues, to hear, support, see, help, and work with a diverse population. What I bring to the counseling relationship is experience, personal and professional, that aid me in the process.
