I’m a licensed mental health counselor. I graduated from Florida State University. I’m based in Florida and have been in private practice for over twenty five years. Most with a psychiatrist in office with me. I’m also a Qualified State Supervisor for the Florida Board where I teach therapists how to be therapists.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My first session begins with a history of the issues one is there for. Hopefully as we begin to deal with one’s issues they will begin to experience and understand aspects of themselves which were possibly previously repressed. Becoming more similar to the person they would like to be.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Since I have been doing therapy for over twenty five years and having provide services to over thirty thousand clients I feel that I help a lot of people over the years. Old age is supposed to make one wise and I believe I have a lot to offer.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I’m dedicated to providing the highest quality of treatment to my client’s in hope that they will be able to reach their highest possible level of functioning and fulfillment in their lives. I’m here to help you get over those inevitable bumps in the road.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Emotions are not commands. Learning to think about why we feel certain things always increases our happiness and sense of well-being.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

This therapy is great with personality disorders. Each individual is complex, multifaceted, and multilayered.

Couples Counseling

Been doing couples therapy for 25+ years. Used to be a Family Mediator doing divorce meditation. Stopped because I rather help keep people married.

Reality Therapy

Real life is just that real life. Life can be a mess at times.
