My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my work, I've found a lot of value in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a therapeutic modality that has demonstrated effectiveness across a spectrum of clients. CBT, characterized by its present-focused orientation ( the here and now) to prepare individuals with the tools necessary to overcome prevailing challenges. I'm here to guide you through this process and help you find more effective ways of coping. With CBT, we'll take a closer look at your thoughts, feelings, and beliefs about what's happening in your life. Together, we'll work on understanding and changing any negative thoughts you might have. The goal is to shift those unhelpful thoughts and make them more balanced and realistic. I'll be encouraging you to spot any patterns of thinking that might be holding you back. It's not about blame or judgment—it's about helping you see things from a different perspective. We'll do this together, and I'm here to support you every step of the way.

Grief Therapy

Grief is a unique and profound emotional experience, and my approach is grounded in empathy, patience, and a profound respect for each person's unique grieving process. I understand that grief doesn't follow a linear path, and I am committed to creating a supportive space where individuals feel heard and understood. Drawing from therapeutic modalities such as grief counseling and Solution focus approach, and CBT. I guide clients in exploring and expressing their emotions surrounding loss. Together, we navigate the complex landscape of grief, allowing space for reflection, remembrance, and the gradual reconstruction of a new normal. Witnessing the resilience of individuals as they navigate the challenging journey of grief and finding ways to honor their unique grieving process has been a profoundly meaningful aspect of my practice.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I will guide you in developing a heightened awareness of your thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations. In mindfulness therapy, the focus is on non-judgmental observation, allowing you to explore your experiences with curiosity and acceptance. Together, we engage in mindfulness exercises, breathing techniques, and guided meditation to foster a sense of calm and grounded presence. The aim is not to eliminate stressors but to change one's relationship with them, promoting resilience and a greater capacity to respond skillfully to life's challenges. Mindfulness therapy is a journey of self-discovery, providing individuals with practical tools to navigate the complexities and enhance overall well-being.
