I am committed to helping you achieve your goals of personal wellness by exploring your strengths, relationships, thoughts, and behaviors and how each of these influence your daily life. I believe in a holistic approach to help you find balance in your life and overcome difficulties that show up along the way. I use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy techniques. My education includes a Bachelors degree in Psychology from California University of PA and a Masters degree in Counselor Education from Virginia Tech. I am National Certified Counselor (NCC) and hold Pennsylvania state certification as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
In our first session, we will take time to get to know each other and figure out if we are a good match. We will dive into the challenges you are facing. This will help me to develop a detailed and individualized plan to work through in follow-up sessions. However, there is no commitment to book a second session with me. It is important that you find the right fit for your personal growth and wellness.
As an experienced counselor, I am able to adjust and pivot according to my client's needs. There is no one size fits all approach in counseling and I treat each person uniquely based on what their individual needs.
I use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy to help clients form helpful, positive thoughts, responses, and actions and manage stressful situations.
I utilize Person-Centered techniques to help clients self-identify their strengths and what is needed to refocus and meet therapy goals.
