Hi! I’m Tameko and it’s so wonderful to meet you. It’s likely that if you’re here reading my page you have found yourself in a situation where you are struggling to experience the life you desire. Well, I can help you with that whether it’s rooted in a lack of motivation to set and follow though with goals, a limited mindset that contributes to feeling stuck, ongoing mental health symptoms that have been difficult to manage, unresolved traumas or adverse life events, or feeling generally disconnected from yourself and the world. Let’s get started addressing and eradicating the barriers to living a more pleasurable, functional, and fulfilling existence.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My role is to help you increase your capacity for change by navigating various stressors, resolving interpersonal issue, improving communication and self expression, enhancing self esteem and self image, managing various mental health symptoms, and developing a deeper understanding about how your brain functions in order to optimize your innate abilities.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

My treatment approach tends to be more eclectic as this allows me to tailor treatment to each clients diverse and unique needs. The primary modalities I utilize are Cognitive Behavior Therapy (addressing thoughts, emotions, and behaviors), Psychodynamic (more insight oriented and focusing on unconscious/repressed thoughts and emotions), Mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems (IFS).

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I thoroughly enjoy working with others to support them in achieving optimal functioning or general balance in life. It is something I feel deeply passionate about and committed to, and this certainly shows in my interactions and the outcomes experienced by people I am fortunate to assist.
