Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Marriage and Family Therapist, my primary services being in California and extended my services to Texas. I received my Masters from the Pacific Oaks College based in Pasadena, CA. I have been practice for 15 years. I help the Latinx community heal and process their trauma, intergenerational trauma, anxiety, struggling with career and stress, and depression. I provide services to young Latinx students in their last semesters of their mental health careers.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will briefly introduce each other, then we will embark in to the main or specific reasons that brought you to therapy. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have a wealth of experience working with teens, parents, families, young adults (first, second generation) and couples. One of my main focus is to provide a safe space for the clients.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My clients will be willing to work on their healing process! So, together, we will focus on you! To learn how childhood attachment issues and trauma and other stressors may impact you and your relationships and others to and to process those emotions to heal the self and to enhance your relationship with others.

My treatment methods

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

I focus this approach by helping clients explore their inner-self to understand trauma, anxiety, life stressors & start the healing process through a cultural lens.

Attachment-based

I focus this approach by helping clients examine their childhood relationship experience with their caregivers.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I focus this approach by helping clients examine the validity of the intrusive thoughts and increase their insight of the positive/negative impact of the use to their negative self-talk/ positive self-thought in their daily lives.

EMDR

I use this approach to help clients process their life trauma experiences.

Family Therapy

To help family member to build positive communication skills to better their interpersonal relationship.
