I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Board-Certified Art Therapist, providing psycho therapy and art therapy services to both Georgia and New Jersey. I graduated in honors with a dual masters from Caldwell University. Over ten years later, I own my own counseling private practice. I use an integrative and holistic approach, grounded in the belief that creativity heals and empowers others. Everyone deserves a safe space and the freedom to express themself. Let me provide this to you. I will help you navigate through life's daily challenges by developing healthy coping skills that promote personal growth. I worked in the Hospital Emergency room, Children’s Hospital, Residential inpatient substance abuse facility, Cognitive Traumatic Brian Injury and Developmental Disabilities residential program, , Mental Health Inpatient /Outpatient, Private practice, and Crisis Intervention In-home therapy. The therapeutic process helps individuals develop self-awareness, problem-solving skills, and emotional regulation. I help you navigate through challenges and develop healthy coping skills. I tailor art therapy interventions to match the developmental level and provide age-appropriate tools to effectively express and communicate emotional needs.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session together will start with brief introductions and review of what your expectations might be. We will discuss symptoms, history of diagnosis, family background, therapeutic goals, and availability. This information helps me create an individualized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. Follow-up sessions are booked four-weeks in advance and can be scheduled for weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly and range from 30-60mins sessions. Most changes can be made in the client portal or by directly contacting me via phone or text.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Together we will explore and discover what methods work best for you. I am trained to use multiple approaches and integrate several modalities. I provide a combination of Psychotherapy with Art Therapy to create a unique and transformative experience, going beyond traditional talk therapy and moving further into the subconscious mind. Art and narrative therapy is particularly beneficial for those experiencing trauma, loss, PTSD, anxiety, and specifically with children and veterans. Counseling sessions incorporate evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical-behavioral therapy (DBT), combined with psychodynamic modalities, solution-focused goals, and mindfulness techniques. Through this process you will discover new perspectives, release emotional bonds, and access deeper levels of self-awareness.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am confident in my ability to provide high quality counseling services individualized to meet specifically identified goals. I am approachable, empathic, and dedicated to offering a safe non-judgemental virtual space for you to freely express yourself. I believe every person is unique and I honor what is shared with me.
