Providing a supportive and safe space for the process of healing to occur is of the utmost importance to me as a psychotherapist. My goal is to help my clients integrate their experiences to feel more at peace in their lives. I foster a non-judgmental and compassionate therapeutic environment to assist clients to focus on issues such as grief/loss, couple relationships, work stress, addictions, depression, anxiety, and trauma. My approach to psychotherapy is client-centered and honors holistic relationships. I utilize various methods including cognitive-behavioral strategies, psychodynamics, mind/body connections through mindfulness practices and imagery, motivational interviewing, and couple/family dynamics.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then explore the specific challenges you're facing. as part of the intake evaluation. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am collaborative, supportive, empathetic, warm, engaging, knowledgeable about a range of life issues, diagnoses, and treatment approaches. I have a sense of humor and enjoy people. I communicate directly and will offer my observations in an authentic and non-judgmental manner-

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with adults 18+ with a range of life challenges. Young adults in their college years who need support as they negotiate the challenges of leaving home and stabilizing in a new environment, dealing with their coursework, making friends, and finding their path. I love working with young professionals who are in the first few years of their careers. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their careers. Couples who are beginning their relationships and couples who are facing the challenges of growth and family changes, eg, children, communication conflicts, affairs, divorce, mid-life and aging. Adults dealing with grief and loss at all stages of life. Individual adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, loss, addictions, obsessions and compulsions, mid-life and aging issues.
