Life be can be beautiful, but it can also be complicated, messy, confusing, and heartbreaking. Often times, we can feel at a loss about how to make meaning of our experiences, how to cope with them, and how to move forward in a positive way. Sometimes, it is our loved ones who are feeling this way and we want to know how we can best support them.
In our first session together, we will get acquainted and explore your concerns. We will work together to develop a plan to address them. It's common to experience a wide array of feelings and to have questions about the therapeutic process. I will take the time to answer your questions and address any concerns you may have.

I have been using CBT in my practice throughout my career with all ages as I find it very effective and practical. For all of us, our thoughts affect our feelings which in turn influence the behavioral choices we make. Clients learn to identify thought patterns that can lead to distress and develop skills to shift these patterns and develop healthier behaviors that support their goals.
