(she/her)
I’m someone who understands how overwhelming it can feel to be caught in life’s in-between space, whether it’s the end of a relationship, the shift in a friendship, or the uncertainty of what comes after graduation. I work with adults who are often relied upon by others but sometimes struggle to support themselves. As a therapist and thought partner, I bring warmth, honesty, and curiosity into our work. I believe therapy is a place where you can take off the mask, slow down, and reconnect with who you are outside of expectations and pressure. My role is to walk alongside you as you process the past, make sense of where you are now, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Our first session is all about slowing down and getting to know you. We’ll explore what brought you to therapy, your current challenges, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll ask questions to better understand your story and give you space to share at your own pace. There’s no pressure to have it all figured out. We’ll also start identifying your goals so that therapy feels meaningful and tailored to your needs. My priority is to create a warm, safe environment where you feel comfortable and supported from the very beginning.
My greatest strength as a therapist is creating a compassionate, down-to-earth space where you feel seen, heard, and understood. With years of experience supporting adults through anxiety, depression, and major life changes, I understand how overwhelming transitions can be. I specialize in helping clients untangle the habits of overthinking, people-pleasing, and perfectionism that often keep them stuck. By combining evidence-based approaches, such as CBT, with a holistic, person-centered perspective, I help clients not only manage symptoms but also reconnect with their sense of identity and purpose. What makes my approach unique is the balance of structure and warmth. I offer practical tools for managing anxiety and building self-trust, while also approaching you with compassion and patience as you navigate your journey.
I support adults navigating anxiety, relational concerns: both romantic and platonic, and major life transitions. Many feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of their next steps. I act as a thought partner to help you gain clarity, build confidence, improve communication, and manage self-doubt. Together, we identify your needs, reframe unhelpful patterns, and build practical skills you can apply in everyday life.

Although this session was part of the intake process, Keeayla presented as an active listener who was respectful, supportive, and understanding. We discussed my goals, and she explained that she will utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, assign homework, and recommend books and other resources as she deems appropriate. I believe she will provide the mental/emotional tools needed to support my transition into a new chapter of my life.
