Letha Page is an LCSW based in Jacksonville, FL, who works with adult individuals and couples across their lifespan, with a focus on relationship conflicts, trauma, dual diagnosis, BPD, and emotional dysregulation. I am also a military Veteran’s wife passionate about providing quality mental health care. I believe clients are the experts on their life experiences and can create meaningful shifts with therapy. I have initially acquired experiences working with individuals and family members in the military and victims of crime in 2008. As my experience grew, I began working with LGBTQIA community, serious emotional disturbances, chronic medical problems, borderline personality disorder, trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, suicide risk, substance abuse, stress, family/relationship issues, and life transitions. My objective is to be able to provide better quality care, let clients express their unique needs, and facilitate people to build skills to become the person they know themselves to be. I’m deeply committed to being there when you need me most—helping you explore, heal, and move forward into a happy and healthy mindset. I utilize techniques that are individualized to their unique needs such as; Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy – Prolonged Exposure (DBT-PE), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Relapse Prevention (RP). In short, I help people build skills to become the person they know themselves to be. My experience and passion allow me to understand the best ways to address each client’s needs in an effective manner. I am flexible in my approach and use collaboration as the basis of my therapy—ensuring a comfortable, safe environment where we can work together on your goals. You are on the path towards wellness, and I can support your therapeutic journey.
As a therapist, I provide a place to slow down and reflect; to better understand yourself, your choices, and what you want from your life. While creating an environment of warmth, understanding, nonjudgement, and compassion, I will encourage you to dive deeply and challenge your assumptions, patterns of behavior, and beliefs about yourself and who you can become. As you make changes, you make new possibilities, and the quality and character of your life transform. The answers are within you with the practice of skills and awareness, and they are your guide to a genuine, fulfilling self.
As a Clinician, by utilizing proven counseling approaches such as Bilateral Eye Movements; Accelerated Resoultion Therapy (ART), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy- Prolonged Exposure (DBT-PE), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and CBT, I can work to reduce the feelings of being stuck and many times eliminate or manage the symptoms of depression, anxiety, or trauma related to your illness or pain.
