As a compassionate and experienced psychotherapist, I bring a holistic approach to helping people navigate life’s challenges and to build stronger social skills/emotional wellness. I'm a fully licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). I retained my master's of social work at the University of Georgia in 2019 and my bachelor's degree in psychology in 2013. I have years of experience working with various populations: : individuals, substance use/harm reduction, couples, non-traditional relationships, families, medical social work, crisis interventions, persistent mental health issues, veterans, homelessness, LGBTQIA+ community, etc.
The first session will be learning about you, your wants/needs, and how I can help structure the goals you want to achieve in the therapeutic space and in your life. I will also help to build trust and develop the therapeutic alliance.
Whether you are struggling with past trauma, current stressors, or simply seeking personal growth, I work collaboratively with you to identify goals and develop practical tools for overcoming obstacles or barriers. I believe in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship, and my goal is to help you gain clarity, strength, and confidence in navigating life's journey. If you are looking for a supportive, compassionate, empathetic therapist who is committed to your well-being, I would be honored to work with you on your path to healing and personal transformation.
I provide a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I specialize in working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, adjustment/coping, and relationship issues by using evidence-based techniques tailored to each person’s unique needs. My therapeutic approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), eclectic, mindfulness, assertiveness, and person-centered therapy, with an emphasis on fostering self-awareness and empowering clients to create meaningful change in their lives.
I provide psycho-education related to thoughts/processes. I will learn about your deep core thoughts and provide insight or challenge how this is helpful or harming your mental health functioning.
I use a variety of treatment modalities to meet the client's needs while in therapy. This can include psycho-education, skills building, reflective feedback, client-center, and solution-focused.
I use this to provide supportive feedback and objectiveness. Remember, I I will empower you to make your own changes and will be objective.
