I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Electroneurodiagnostic Technician. My work experience as a Clinical Social Worker includes crisis and detox facilities, outpatient therapy, medication assistance programs, substance use intensive outpatient therapy, and group therapy. As an Electroneurodiagnostic Technician, I performed tests on the brain, spinal cord, central and peripheral nervous system, and cellular functions. I combine both expertise to ensure mental and health needs are addressed. I specialize in CBT skills to help motivated individuals understand how emotions and thoughts influence behavior and life. Together, we will explore current situations and past experiences to identify how they affect your life today. We will use a whole-body approach to address the mind, body, and spirit needs to help restore balance and regain control over your life. Whether you're dealing with everyday stress, relationship problems, positive self-reflection, anxiety, or depression, I am here to help. Whether this is your first time or the tenth time, you're making the right choice. You will always be provided a safe space where you feel heard and supported. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with empathy and evidence-based practice techniques to help you overcome the struggles holding you back and assist you with determining the changes needed to bring about positive changes.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first session is more about connecting with you. It will differ from the following sessions as it will focus more on asking and answering questions. I will take the time to review your intake paperwork during our first session and ask more questions in areas where I feel more knowledge is needed. The purpose is to ensure that my skills are appropriate for your mental health needs and, most importantly, to ensure we are a good therapeutic fit! At the conclusion of our first session, I will check in with you to ensure you feel comfortable moving forward and investing in a therapeutic relationship to address your needs.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I like to separate the person from the diagnosis. Your diagnosis helps us to understand how your mind and body respond to situations, events, people, and your environment and guide us on the best treatment methods. However, it does not define you. I take the time to learn who you are outside of the diagnosis to connect with the real you. Who were you before the symptoms? What natural skills do you possess? What brings you joy in life? If I could wave a wand and your life be what you wanted, what would that look like?
