Travis Johnson Sr.

I am a veteran of the USAF and learned what NOT to do, and graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.A. in Psychology, and an M.A. in Counseling and Education. I began counseling in Christian ministry in 1984 and have a biblical focus on counseling. I have worked as the lead clinical therapist at inpatient treatment centers for adult women with trauma, as well as an inpatient treatment center with teens focused on behavioral issues. I have also worked with single adults, married couples, and retirees. I have also worked in Intensive outpatient programs for adult men.

I have been trained in EMDR therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Shame resiliency, Grief resolution, Solution-focused therapy (SFT).
